Anode and special painting
Concrete Anode for Reinforced Concrete
Zinc Anode for Corrosion Control of Reinforcing Steel in Concrete, Concrete Anode, which is encased in Alkali-Activating Mortar with a pH equal to or higher than 14. This Alkali-Activating Mortar will prevent the zinc anode from passivation and improve the current output of the zinc anode. The zinc anode conforms to ASTM B418 Type II. Moreover, the mortar does not contain any acids or chemicals, such as chlorides or bromides, that can damage the reinforcing steel. Therefore, the zinc anode can be used to control or prevent rust of reinforcing steel in chloride-contaminated or carbonated concrete for both new and old structures. For installation, the zinc anode can be installed on the reinforcing steel by steel wire tiring or steel clamps
This product conforms to TIS no. 3029-2563, with the polarisation decay equal to more than 100 mV and the protective radius or working distance of 60 cm. minimum. The zinc anode can be used to control or prevent rust of the reinforcing steels according to ISO 12696 or other equivalent standards, with a protection period of at least 10 years or more.
